Seeding

We have imported a specialised air-seeding system designed for construction sites. It has a working line system on the front of the unit that will break up and level any clods of earth.

 

The seed delivery system is driven by air so the seed can be evenly spread over the site even when ground conditions are difficult. The offset roller at the back of the unit is designed to work even in quite wet conditions and it has an indenting roller that imprints diamond shaped grooves into the soil.

 

This allows water to be captured during light rain events and stored for use by the seed. It also helps reduce any water run off from the site.

The unit is 3 metres wide so can do large areas per day if required. The seed metering system can deliver up to 300 kg/ha in one pass if required.
